The Lookout is a top floor unit that is designed with your comforts in mind and a location that is one of the best Kansas City has to offer. This stunning property is within walking distance to the 39th St. shops and just minutes from Downtown and the Country Club Plaza. This apartment offers a ton of space and features 2 kings sized beds as well as an additional queen sized daybed in the sunroom/office. This place is sure to impress even the most seasoned travelers!

Home Features

This listing is for an upper level unit of a duplex. The stairs to access the unit are inside the front door. The unit below could potentially be occupied by another guest upon your stay. These units can be rented together or separately but are not adjoined.

The space has been professionally designed and contains beautiful and functional furnishings that will take your breath away. Guests will have use of the entire top floor of this unit. It is very spacious and contains a large private kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 1 smaller office/ bedroom and 1 full bathroom and a large private balcony that is covered and has an outdoor seating area.

LIVING ROOM

The comfortable sectional will easily seat 4- 5 guests with additional seating provided. The 50" flat screen TV is set up for users to be able to log into their Netflix, HULU, YouTube or Amazon Prime accounts. High speed WIFI will allow for streaming movies, conducting zoom calls or gaming. Card games are also provided for anyone that wants to host a fun game night.

BEDROOMS

There are 2 large bedrooms each is equipped with a KING size bed, a large closet for storage, and a 40" TV set up with all of the apps! One of the large bedrooms also has a work space and there is a separate work space in the smaller 3 bedroom.

The smaller bedroom is equipped with a beautiful work space that overlooks Roanoke Rd. and a comfortable queen size daybed which will sleep 2 additional guests.

KITCHEN & DINING

Full coffee bar with an assortment of coffee, creamer and sugar are provided. The coffee bar includes a keurig, drip, french press and pour over brewing options. We also provide a bar kit for anyone that wants to be a bartender for the evening so bring your cocktail guide for entertaining. The dining room table will comfortably seat 6 guests.

The remodeled kitchen has everything you need from pots, pans, plates, silverware, bakeware and cookie sheets to cook any meal that you desire. If you don't feel like cooking that's not a problem as there are over a 100 hundred different restaurants just minutes from your front door.

BATHROOMS

The unit has one large bathroom that is located off the hallway. We provide one large bath towel and one wash cloth per guest as well as Tommy Bahama luxury bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. A hair dryer and dark makeup towels to use for makeup removal are also provided!

EXTRAS

The large balcony sits off of the living room and provides an excellent "lookout" for guests. There are 2 swinging chairs along with a comfortable conversation area. This area is perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night.

Parking - There are 2 free parking spots located behind the building for guest use. Additional street parking is also available.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Full refund will be provided if guest cancels more than five days prior to arrival minus any processing fees (approx. 4%). No refund will be given if canceled within five days of arrival.

PARTIES

All gatherings must be limited to 8, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION

To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with SafelyStay, Inc. to provide your reservation with damage protection of up to $1,500. Guest screening is also required, and you will be contacted to complete an identity verification once your reservation is confirmed.

PETS

We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 pet fee for one pet or $100 for two, this fee is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet. Host provides dog bag stations). There is no fenced in yard at this home but the neighborhood is perfect for walking!
